How sweet was the sweetest day of the year?

Thank you to everyone who participated in Miracle Treat Day, the sweetest day of the year!

In case you missed it, on July 25, Dairy Queen donated $1 or more to Sanford Children’s Miracle Network for every Blizzard® treat sold at participating locations in the Sioux Falls region.

This year, several locations planned family-friendly activities like carnival games and bounce houses, Sioux Falls Mayor Paul TenHaken and Fire Chief Brad Goodroad made a special appearance at the Dairy Queen on Minnesota Avenue in Sioux Falls, and hundreds of people waited patiently in long lines to satisfy their sweet tooths for a great cause.

At the Dairy Queen in Madison, S.D., customers bought more than 44,000 Blizzards. DQ Fourteen Foods raised more than $58,000 from their nine locations in Sioux Falls, Worthington, Yankton, Mitchell and Brookings. Dairy Queen in Aberdeen, S.D., also raised more than $10,000 from balloon icon sales.

Your support for Children’s Miracle Network will bring hope and healing to local children and their families at Sanford Children’s. Every dollar will help purchase state-of-the-art equipment, expand programs, further research and provide direct family assistance.

Thank you for helping make miracles happen for kids!
