Registration for the 2019 Sioux Falls Marathon is now open!

Event also includes half marathon, 10K, 10K team challenge, and Miracle 5K.

Registration for the 2019 Sioux Falls Marathon is now open, the Sioux Falls Sports Authority is excited to announce. The annual event, which is scheduled for Sunday, September 8, 2019, includes a full-marathon, half-marathon, 10k, 10k Team Challenge, Children’s Miracle Network 5k. Participants can sign up for all races at http://bit.ly/sfmregistration. A portion of race proceeds supports Children’s Miracle Network at Sanford Children’s Hospital.

For the first time in the history of the race the Sioux Falls Marathon expo will be held inside the Sanford Pentagon on Saturday, September 7 and will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Wermerson Orthodontics Youth Dash will also take place at the Pentagon starting with the first race beginning at 11 a.m.

“The 2019 edition of the Sioux Falls Marathon is going to be a great event for our community,” said Thomas Lee, Executive Director the Sioux Falls Sports Authority. “We look forward to showcasing Sioux Falls and delivering an extraordinary event for locals and visitors alike. We want to be a race that welcomes all runners from novice to avid and we feel that providing four distances will help us accomplish that goal.”

For the third consecutive year, the marathon will start and finish inside the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center and will begin at 6:30 a.m. The half-marathon and 10K will begin at 7 a.m. which will also start and finish inside the PREMIER Center, the Miracle 5k will begin at 10:15 a.m.

Saturday, September 7 (Sanford Pentagon)

• Sioux Falls Marathon Expo – 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Wermerson Orthodontics Youth Dash – 11 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m.

Sunday, September 8 (Denny Sanford PREMIER Center)

• Marathon – 6:30 a.m.
• Half Marathon & 10K – 7 a.m.
• Miracle 5K – 10:15 a.m.
